Summer Place 8 is a fantastic four bedroom oceanfront townhome ideally located in midtown Ocean City, Maryland on 89th Street. Take full advantage of all three oceanfront decks, plus the added perk of being able to walk out onto a secluded, private sand area behind the dune, and then continue onto the beach and ocean via the exclusive dune crossing. This beautiful beach-themed home has been recently renovated throughout and features a beautiful modern kitchen (sans icemaker), oceanfront living area, dining area, courtyard, and two oceanfront bedrooms with stunning views. Multiple televisions and high speed internet are available for your entertainment when you're in need of a break from the sun and surf. You will want to make this spacious location your perennial vacation spot for years to come! Park your car for the week and walk to nearby restaurants including Layton's, Liquid Assets, Bull on the Beach, Coffee Beanery and more - plus the Acme supermarket . The townhome can accommodate your family of up to 10 guests with one king sized bed, two bedrooms each with a queen, and one bedroom with two queen beds. Guest must supply sheets, towels, all soaps and paper products. A washer/dryer, as well as four beach chairs and various sand toys are provided for your convenience. An optional linen package is available for purchase and would be delivered to the condo on your day of arrival and picked up on your day of departure. The package would include sheet sets for each bed and towel sets equaling the maximum occupancy of the condo. Note this owner offers a $50 discount on a weekly rental for our military guests. A charcoal grill is located beach side under the deck, but may only be used in the common area between the unit and the beach, it can not be used within 20 feet of the building. It cannot be used on the deck or anywhere on the actual building. Charcoal is not supplied. No bonfires permitted. Non-Smoking/Non-Vaping. No Pets. Property owner does not permit group rentals to guests under the age of 25. Would be happy to stay here again!

This is a wonderful property with an unbeatable location.  You can’t get much closer to the beach than this.  The interior decor is beachy and updated. The kitchen, although small, was well appointed and gave us we needed to prepare meals for 9 people.   The sandy backyard gave the little ones outdoor space to play.  Lights over the kitchen sink strobing so someone should look at that.  A larger kitchen trash can and more pantry space would be helpful.  Over a terrific property.  We would be happy to stay here again!

The Best Nights Sleep

The location of this house is amazing for so many reasons.  First, it is right on the beach.  If you are lucky enough to sleep in one of the 2 front bedrooms, you will fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing onto the beach…it is that close!  Of course, the views are amazing also.  You can sit out on the second and third floor deck and get lost looking at the ocean.  This close proximity to the beach affords you the luxury of walking back for lunch, a drink, or anything else your heart desires.  Yeah, it’s that easy.  Next, the location of this house allows you to leave your car and walk to multiple restaurants and bars within a few blocks.  The Acme is also very close.  We found the house spotless.  There are steps but they are broken up by landings which allows you to  pause if you have anything heavy.  Having stayed in many beach houses this is so much better than a long straight stairway.  The kitchen is well appointed.  There are multiple places to eat inside to accommodate a larger family, a dining table, two outdoor tables, and a counter.  There is a lovely outside shower but it needs a rack or shelf for shampoo, etc.  There is no master bath, but honestly it really didn’t matter to our family.  We were so at peace with the sounds and views of the ocean it didn’t really matter once you were there.  To be able to sit outside first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine late in the day and see and hear the ocean in all of its glory took priority over everything else.

We can’t wait to return!
