Gouache Painting with Joanne K. Guilfoil – Hawaii Flowers

Gouache – sometimes referred to as opaque watercolor, starts out similarly to watercolor. The pigment ratio in gouache is usually much greater than in watercolor and solid white pigment are incorporated. These factors give gouache a much heavier texture and higher opacity than watercolor alone. You will learn different techniques for Gouache and how to work the material to get the wanted effects.
