Central Reservations Tips & Tricks for Country 2024

Tip #1: Plan for Traffic!

For those of you who attended the Oceans Calling music festival in 2023, you probably know why we’re saying to plan for traffic. OCMD is most likely going to be SUPER busy for Country Calling, so make sure you allow plenty of time to make your way to the festival grounds… Especially for those staying in North or West OC.

While traffic may be a little bit of a hassle getting to and from this event, trust us, it’ll be worth it. Remember, you’re at the beach! This is supposed to be a ‘stress free zone!’ So, sit back, relax, enjoy the festival, and plan for some traffic to and from the festival grounds.

Tip #2: Get a Ride

Parking will most likely be pretty difficult anywhere near the festival grounds for Country Calling. Plan on riding a bike or an electric scooter, taking an Uber, riding the bus, or getting a ride from a friend when travelling to and from the festival. Check out the town of ocean city’s bus information for country calling here.

Tip #3: Take a Raincoat

Planning on staying at Country Calling for the whole day on Friday or Saturday? Make sure you bring a rain jacket with you! As you may know, at the beach, the weather can change quickly. If you’re not close to the festival grounds, be sure to pack everything you may need for the day. There will also be lockers for rent available on the festival grounds! You can reserve a locker by clicking here!

Tip #4: Meet up with a friend!

Like we said before, traffic will likely be very busy in Ocean City for the first annual Country Calling music festival. Do you have a friend who is staying at one of our vacation rentals near the boardwalk? Ask around and see! It would be a great idea to head on down to their place before the festival begins so you can walk to the event and avoid the traffic!
