The town of Ocean City, MD recently announced the next large music festival coming to beach. It’s called Boardwalk Rock, and it’s being hosted by the same team that delivers Oceans Calling and Country Calling!
While the town and coordinators of the event still have some coordinating to do, we now know the festival lineup as well as when the dates for the Boardwalk rock music festival. The Boardwalk Rock Music Festival will be taking place on May 17th & May 18th in 2025.
Where is the Boardwalk Rock Music Festival?
All of Ocean City will be rockin’ on the south end of Ocean City, MD towards the Inlet area and in the Inlet parking lot. If Oceans Calling and Country calling are any indication of exactly where the event will be, the event grounds will stretch from 1st Street to S 2nd Street.

Who is Performing for the Boardwalk Rock Music Festival?

Travel Tips for Boardwalk Rock 2025
If there’s one thing you need to plan for in regard to Boardwalk Rock, it’s TRAFFIC. While we will be the first to say that the town of Ocean City has done a GREAT job (and we mean GREAT) managing the traffic and travel times from North Ocean City, MD down to the festival grounds, you should still plan on leaving a bit earlier than you think.
If you want to avoid travel worries all together, consider booking one of our Vacation Rentals close to the festival grounds! Visit the map on our website and scroll towards the southern end of OC to view all of our properties in this area!
Tips For Boardwalk Rock 2025
If you read our blog about Country Calling or Oceans Calling, you’ll know that we recommend bringing a coat to the festival, just in case of rain. Believe us, getting caught in the rain without a rain jacket for an all-day music festival is NOT ideal (some of us may have experienced this firsthand at Oceans Calling).
Next, if you’re not someone who enjoys walking in the sand amongst thousands of people in between shows and stages, you might want to consider purchasing an upgraded ticket. Some of the VIP & GA+ packages include private areas you can enjoy the festival from. Others even include free food and drinks!
